360training is a training technology and content company. We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team here in Austin. This role is primarily responsible for the maintenance and security of our 24x7x365 production systems as well as our corporate infrastructure including developing policies, procedures and evaluating/implementing technologies.
Duties:Experience with working alongside a development staff, providing both support and systems-level recommendations as needed.
• Good knowledge of products and tools for all aspects of system management, including backup, network/system monitoring, scripting, automation, and security; especially performance monitoring and identification of bottlenecks.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems related problems across multiple platforms.
• Sound experience in tuning systems and operating environments to make maximum use of resources in high computational and IO throughput scenarios.
• Knowledge of RAID, SANs (EMC, etc) and related products for disk and resource management.
• Able to work with hardware and software vendors in complex technical scenarios.
• Experience building robust systems and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to perform and automate day to day operating tasks.
• Experience with server virtualization for consolidation, HA, and development sandboxes.
• Must be willing to support a 24x7x365 environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience supporting a software as a service/software as a product companies.
• Understanding and supporting all corporate systems including telecom, network, and computer.
• Development and implementation of training procedures and documentation for employees and contractors.
• Perform production backups and recovery based on corporate policies and needs.
• Document operational LAN / WAN procedures including System, Network and Security Policies.
• Manage Nortel VOIP Infrastructure
• Assist with special assignments as needed.
• Maintains a broad knowledge of technology.
• Experience supporting onshore/offshore/remote environments/teams/offices.
Qualifications:Bachelors of Computer Science Degree
• 3 to 5 years experience directly related to the duties specified.
• At least 3 years experience Windows Server.
• At least 3 years experience Linux.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, IIS, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Services, SQL, Exchange, ISA, OCS, WLBS, DFS
• Experience with Cisco IOS
• Experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, and Access Points
• Experience working with VLAN, LAG, BGP, NAT, PAT, QoS
• Experience with ColdFusion, .NET, PHP
• Experience with Apache and Tomcat
• Experience with Network Load Balancing
• Ability to communicate effectively with good oral and writing skills.
• Ability to manage financial resources
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
• Experience with EMC SAN Technologies (ISCSI/Fiber Channel)
• Experience with Fiber Switch Technologies
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware and associated network equipment, including SCSI, RAID, and HBA.
• Experience with server/network performance tuning and monitoring tools.
• Experience with NAS Technologies
• Working technical knowledge of scripting code using Perl, CGI, C, or PowerShell.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, both technically and organizationally.
• MCSE/MCSA/MCP/MCITP
• Experience in e-Learning a plus.
