The Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for the management of resources and activities on requested curriculum. To be successful in this role, the ID must maintain a flexible and balanced approach to achieving client and business priorities and goals as they relate to curriculum management. Effective communication coupled with best practices, well developed attention to detail, and results that should be on time, with expected quality. |
| Duties: | • Oversee end-to-end production of new and updated course curriculum.
• Understand, supervise, and improve upon every aspect of the production model, including project planning, writing, editing, multimedia development, QA, and delivery.
• Ensure project quality with regard to customer experience, client and reseller needs, and regulatory expectations.
• Ensure accurate project tracking in JIRA. Set or consult on project deadlines and hold all parties accountable for those. Coordinate with Team Pod to meet these expectations.
• Adjust priorities and resources as department needs change.
• Coordinate all projects with the Project Manager Lead and regulatory staff to ensure speed to market and best use of resources.
• Develop project specifications for Subject Matter Experts as needed.
• Instructional design theories in order to storyboard.
• Photoshop or other image editing tools.
• E-learning/adult learning techniques.

| Qualifications: | • Knowledge of Instructional design theories in order to storyboard and E-learning/adult learning techniques.
• Must be competent in the use of the internet from both a functionality and conceptual standpoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail and accuracy will be required.
• At least 2 years experience managing projects in a rapidly changing environment.
• Proven experience in managing multifaceted projects using various project management methodologies, overall team deliverable, and day-to-day relationships with clients.
• Bachelors Degree in Instructional Design, adult learning theory and practice, or instructional technology preferred.
